Rakesh Jhunjhunwala effect on market
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Death Effect On Market
India’s fast-growing market of automobiles is being battered by the death of its best driver, Rakesh Jhunjhunjhunwala. Jhunjhunwala was a renowned auto expert and an accomplished mechanic whose contribution to Indian automobile manufacturing industry cannot be ignored. The young engineer died on November 28 after suffering from multiple injuries at his workshop in Guwahati that day — as per a report in Bollywood Hungama. However, it is not clear how he came down with such fatal injury while making some minor repairs to his machine due to which he fell into water; there have been no official statements regarding what caused him to fall into the pool.
According to reports, the incident occurred when Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (54) had completed an automotive repair at his workshop called “Jhunjhunwala Automotive Workshop” situated nearby “Gokak House” in Gokak village in Guwahati district in eastern Uttar Pradesh state. It was around 10 am, and for over 30 minutes Rakesh Jhunjhunwala remained standing amidst the water and started playing around with his hands. As soon as the clock strikes 11 o’clock, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala jumped out of his chair and took few steps till he got into one of his cars, a Mercedes Benz C200, which is his prized possession.
The car’s window panes were also busted, and it appeared as if Rakesh Jhunjhunwala could have suffered from broken glasses or any other glassy windows. His eyesight was compromised as well, which led to severe blurred vision that made him experience some difficulties while driving his vehicle around. In fact, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s vehicle hit a cyclist who did not care about breaking traffic rules.
As it appears, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala left behind both of his vehicles — a Honda Accord that he owns and another MercedesBenz that he still maintained. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s Mercedes Benz, along with six other cars, are believed to belong to Mr. Jhunjhunjhunwala and they all are now stored in his personal residence near their owner’s house. According to the police of Gokak region, only one man has taken away his property from Mr. Jhunjhunjhunwala’s residence. Both petrol pumps as well as power connections of the cars in Mr. Jhunjhunwala’s Mercedes Benz were disabled, but the engine of these automobiles is still operational. Though this seems like it may appear as a huge loss for the person who works tirelessly to restore old machines in a bid to preserve them, it might not be the case as well.
This is because the person who took away Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s Mercedes Benz didn’t even own it. That person just had a monthly loan facility for his Mercedes Benz, and he had done so to keep it running for himself. Though people might say that there would be such loss for Mr. Jhunjhunwala, but Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was extremely hardworking, and without knowing his Mercedes Benz, he would never have come down with such tragic end. Also, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala worked alongside many of world’s leading engineers, and in his career path he earned numerous awards, especially in terms of technical excellence. In addition, he was awarded several honors and accolades throughout his life time, and most importantly, he is considered as a perfect icon of modern engineering that’s why his car was built and maintained very meticulously by him.
So, it means that a person who wanted such kind of car could never lose it nor would anyone else even want it. And let us see if that could happen; let us take the example of two different types of cars, Mercedes Benz and Mercedes Maybach.
There are certain features in each model such as a 4 speed automatic transmission and a diesel engine, but each models differ a lot in terms of construction, power, and fuel efficiency. And it is just for demonstration purpose only that we mention that, the features are basically the same in each model. At present, in my opinion, if we compare the Mercedes Benz model (M-B) with the Mercedes Maybach model (MB-), the MB- is more appealing and comfortable that compared to M-B. But the difference in the models is much lesser; whereas MMB has higher fuel efficiency, there is a high chance that our foresemer will need extra space in his/her car for taking other passengers or for working.
Hence, the cost difference would be less in MB- than in M-B than in MB. Furthermore, Mercedes-Benz is known for having quite good safety record over the years, whereas Maybach is somewhat weak in comparison. Similarly, our foresemer would likely prefer Mercedes-Maybach due to its luxurious interior design, good engine performance and strong body.
Conclusion
After going through the comparisons of two models and analyzing the aspects of the models, I have concluded that the price difference and the choice of the type of car is the major reason that people choose MMB over M-B. In the post-mortem reports of both models, it is found that, the main damages to both the models are either minor or major injuries to both the parts or parts beyond repair. Apart from those, there are mild damages on the exterior part of the car, but nothing serious. Of course, there are some small chances of fractures and cuts on the sides of the body or other organs. Overall speaking, both the models are almost the exact same except for slight differences in the dimensions of the wheels, door panels, body, etc.
